  • 1 onion peeled, quarted and thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper cut in strips
  • 1 green bell pepper cut in strips
  • 2 Portobello mushroom caps cut in strips
  • 2 t steak seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 slices provolone cheese shredded
  • Ranch dressing to top optional

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add the onion and cook for several minutes until beginning to brown. Add the bell peppers, the mushrooms and the steak seasoning, salt and pepper and cook until vegetables are beginning to soften (3-4 minutes).
  4. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly around the phyllo crust. Top with the provolone cheese. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Drizzle the top with ranch dressing if desired.
